We were delighted to be asked to design some of the On the Day stationery for our friends Ben and Laura.
THE BRIEF
Ben & Laura were getting married in Sorrento, Italy and wanted their stationery to take on a travel theme. Ben’s love of maps, antiques and their mutual love of travelling meant we were able to introduce a vintage atlas map.
WHAT WE DID
Laura came up with the idea of inflight meal tags for their place names. We used a map for the background of their table plan with tags to indicate tables. Finally as the wedding was in Italy Laura decided she wanted a fan order of service so her guests could keep cool in the hot sunshine. We painted watercolour lemons and paired this with modern calligraphy fonts.
